From a26b26c3750723d7aba9a2e22554afff5218f39c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: sommerfeld Date: Tue, 21 Apr 2026 01:23:56 +0100 Subject: feat(etc, readd): rename etc-drift to etc; add etc-readd + readd MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=UTF-8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit - etc-drift → etc (the main entry point to the /etc subsystem). - New etc-readd: pull changes from live /etc back into tracked repo files (the /etc analog of 'chezmoi re-add'). No args refreshes all tracked files; explicit paths error if the file isn't already tracked (use etc-add to adopt). Skips unchanged files silently; runs 'just apply' only when something changed. - New top-level readd: 'chezmoi re-add' + 'just etc-readd'. One command to mirror live state back into the repo. --- .github/copilot-instructions.md | 2 +- justfile | 56 ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++--- 2 files changed, 54 insertions(+), 4 deletions(-) diff --git a/.github/copilot-instructions.md b/.github/copilot-instructions.md index 2a6fbdb..a72ec26 100644 --- a/.github/copilot-instructions.md +++ b/.github/copilot-instructions.md @@ -21,7 +21,7 @@ The repo root is a chezmoi source directory. Files targeting `$HOME` use chezmoi - `bootstrap.sh` at the repo root is a POSIX shell script that takes a fresh minimal Arch install (only `base`) to a fully deployed state.
